Our Arts Education and Outreach program provides summer camps for k-8 students and visual arts classes for all ages throughout the year, designed to develope ceativity, critical thinking, collaborative learning and cultural awareness. ShoreLake Arts Education division is lead by a certified and tenured art instructor and all class teachers are practicing artists, one of the many ways we support artists. To address equity in access to art, we bring art to the community by providing free hands-on art opportunities at multiple community events through out the year and downloadable DIY art projects created by professional artists. In 2024 our free hands-on art program grew to serve over 700 budding artists, doubling the community members served in 2023.

In addition to its rotating exhibits and ongoing sales, the Gallery connects the community with art through free, hands-on art to increase knowledge of new artists and art techniques. The Gallery remains home to the Little Free Art Studio where the community exchanges art materials and books. As of the Fall of 2024 the Gallery is in a new location at the heart of a Shoreline neighborhood business district. The new location includes office and classroom space and provides increased exhibit space, enables ShoreLake Atrs to host more community events and to showcase an even greater variety of work from local and emerging artisits.
