Volunteer groups from North America journey to Guatemala to help rural communities. One of the key ways they provide assistance is by installing Aler Stoves, which are highly efficient for cooking and heating. In addition, these groups also construct one-room schoolhouses in the villages. They also help install water systems, which consist of 2500-liter water tanks, catchment and filter systems. This helps ensure that the villagers have access to clean and safe drinking water. All of these efforts are important for improving the health and quality of life for the villagers.
