THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDED CONTINUING EDUCATION FOR ITS MEMBERS BY SPONSORING OR CO-SPONSORING WORKSHOPS, SEMINARS, AND FIELD DAYS ON BIOSOLIDS MANAGEMENT TOPICS. THE ORGANIZATION SUBMITTED COMMENTS ON SEVERAL PROPOSED STATE AND FEDERAL REGULATIONS AND PARTICIPATED ON BOTH STATE AND FEDERAL ADVISORY COMMITTEES. THE ORGANIZATION CONTRACTED WITH UNIVERSITIES TO CONDUCT RESEARCH ON BIOSOLIDS LAND APPLICATION. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES SUPPORT TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE FOR MEMBER ANNUALLY THROUGH RESEARCH CONTRACTS. IN ADDITION, THEY PROVIDE VOLUNTARY BIOSOLIDS TESTING OPPORTUNITIES TO MEMBERS AND ORGANIZED MULTI-STAKEHOLDER INPUT ON REGULATIONS IMPACTING BIOSOLIDS RECYCLING.
