THEIR SOCIAL SERVICE PROFESSIONAL TEAM WORK DIRECTLY INSIDE K-12 SCHOOLS TO ADDRESS THE IDENTIFIED NEEDS OF EACH SCHOOL AND INDIVIDUAL STUDENTS WHO ARE FACING NON-ACADEMIC BARRIERS TO SUCCESS THROUGH INDIVIDUALIZED CASE MANAGEMENT. STUDENTS ARE REFERRED FOR A VARIETY OF REASONS INCLUDING FOOD INSECURITY; LIVING IN UNSAFE ENVIRONMENTS; EXPERIENCING SOME OTHER FORM OF TRAUMA; LACK OF A CARING ADULT; OR DISENGAGED IN SCHOOL.
