1.Outreach and voter/civic education included a public hospital district education program; a local news and democracy study and a study of the Shoreline Management Act after 50 years. Members of the public were invited to attend presentations on these topics. Preliminary work for statewide debates began in August, 2023 and continued for the remainder of the year into 2024. Support for local candidate forums included training and coordination. The Leagues online voter guide, VOTE411.org, presented information for voters on every elective race in the State of Washington. We continue to sell posters and civic textbooks. Inventory is recorded at cost on the balance sheet. Grants are made to local leagues which are used in similar ways to how we use our resources.
