ASIA PACIFIC CULTURAL CENTER (APCC) IS A 501(C)(3) COMMUNITY BASED ORGANIZATION ESTABLISHED TO BRIDGE COMMUNITIES AND GENERATIONS THROUGH ARTS, CULTURE, EDUCATION AND BUSINESS. APCCS VISION WILL TRANSFORM OUR COMMUNITY TO BECOME A DYNAMIC, INCLUSIVE HUB FOR DIVERSE COMMUNITIES, CULTURES, AND GENERATIONS. APCC REPRESENTS, TEACHES, AND SHOWCASES THE FORTY SEVEN NATIONS THAT MAKE UP ALL OF ASIA AND THE SOUTH PACIFIC - ABOUT THEIR STORIES, HISTORIES, ARTS, CRAFTS, LANGUAGES, FOODS, CUSTOMS, CULTURES, AND THEIR PEOPLE! APCC IS IN SCHOOLS K-12, IN COLLEGES/UNIVERSITIES, IN GOVERNMENT AGENCIES, IN OTHER COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS, IN PUBLIC LIBRARIES, ALL ARTS ORGANIZATIONS, AND IN PUBLIC. APCC ADMINISTERS A VERY SUCCESSFUL YOUTH PROGRAM IN PIERCE COUNTY TO ASSIST CHILDREN AND YOUTH AGES 8YRS OLD TO 24 YRS OLD - SPECIFICALLY BUT NOT LIMITED TO ASIA PACIFIC STUDENTS WHO ARE FAILING IN SCHOOL, RUN AWAY FROM HOME, HOMELESS, INTO DRUGS AND GANGS, CAUSING VIOLENT BEHAVIOR IN PUBLIC AND SCHOOLS, EXPELLED AND SUSPENDED FROM SCHOOL, COME FROM DYSFUNCTIONAL FAMILIES, A LOT DUE TO NON ENGLISH SPEAKING, LIMITED ENGLISH, POOR, HOMELESS, VIOLENT, AND DYSFUNCTIONAL FAMILIES! APCC NOT ONLY ASSISTS THESE STUDENTS IN SCHOOL BUT ALSO THEIR FAMILIES - WE PROVIDE WRAP AROUND SERVICES FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY. APCC RUNS A VERY SUCCESSFUL OUTREACH PROGRAM TO HELP ASIA PACIFIC BUSINESSES AND FAMILIES. APCC PROVIDES ALL TYPES OF RESOURCES NEEDED TO KEEP AND OPEN A BUSINESS, AND ALSO TO CONNECT FAMILIES AND INDIVIDUALS TO RESOURCES THROUGH CULTURAL AND LANGUAGE COMPETENT SERVICES. APCC PLAYS A FRONT ROLE IN PARTNERING WITH LOCAL AND STATE PUBLIC HEALTH DEPARTMENTS TO ADDRESS THE NEEDS FOR VACCINE AND TESTING, PPE SUPPLIES, AND FOOD DISTRIBUTION. APCC HAS SUCCESSFULLY PROVIDED ASSISTANCE THROUGH MULTIPLE LANGUAGES AND CULTURAL SERVICES.
