Ethos offers sliding scale music lessons from their headquarters in North Portland and facilitates music outreach programs for students in Oregons underserved rural and urban areas. This includes affordable music instruction taught on various instruments and in a variety of genres, including piano, ukulele, percussion, violin, jazz, and rock band. Ethos offered private lessons, group classes, and summer camps, all on a sliding scale, based on students participation in the free and reduced price lunch program. As part of this programming Ethos also offered Rural Outreach via AmeriCorps placements, Music Corps and Pass the Mic in partners schools and community organizations, and free community events.
