The Blue Door Theatre is a nonprofit organization that promotes creativity, collaboration, and community engagement through improvisational theatre and arts education. In 2025, the theatre presented regular live performances, operated the Spokane School of Improv with classes for youth and adults, and hosted the Northwest Improv Fest, bringing regional and national performers to Spokane. We sponsored Improv League through which we place improv instructors in the local high schools. The organization also supported local artists through the Yes, And Art Gallery and provided community-based programming, including youth outreach and applied improv workshops designed to build communication and leadership skills. Finally, we continued to sponsor classes for incarcerated individuals at Airway Heights Correctional Center.
