IN 2023, THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST AVIATION MUSEUM DBA THE PASCO AVIATION MUSEUM PROVIDED 275+ HOURS OF PROGRAMMING INCLUDING: GUIDED TOURS, EDUCATIONAL DISPLAYS, K-12 SCHOOL FIELD TRIPS, PRESERVATION OF LOCAL HISTORY AND ARTIFACTS WHILE ALSO CONTINUING TO RESTORE AND MAINTAIN THE ORIGINAL 1942 NAVAL AIR STATION (NAS) PASCO CONTROL TOWER BUILDING THAT HOUSES THE MUSEUM. THE WASHINGTON STATE DEPARTMENT OF ARCHAEOLOGY AND HISTORIC PRESERVATION RECOGNIZED THE MUSEUM'S PRESERVATION EFFORTS BY LISTING THE NAS PASCO CONTROL TOWER AND HANGAR BUILDING ON THE WASHINGTON HERITAGE REGISTER OF HISTORIC PLACES.
