WITH THE DEPARTURE OF THE SENIOR PASTOR AT CCCM EARLY IN 2019, THE CHURCH SOUGHT AND SECURED A TRANSITIONAL PASTOR. THE FOUNDATION PROVIDED A GRANT TO COVER THE HOUSING COSTS FOR THE TRANSITIONAL PASTOR UNTIL HE DEPARTED IN LATE JUNE 2021. THIS INCLUDES RENT, FURNITURE RENTAL, UTILITIES, AND RENTER'S INSURANCE. CCCM HAD AN ACTIVE SEARCH FOR A SENIOR PASTOR AND THE POSITION WAS FILLED IN 2021. SINCE CCCM IS LOCATED IN ONE OF THE HIGHEST COST OF LIVING AREAS IN THE COUNTRY, THE FOUNDATION REVIEWED THE INVESTMENT PORTFOLIO AND REPOSITIONED INVESTMENTS TO ENABLE LIQUIDITY, RAISE ADDITIONAL FUNDS, AND IN LATE AUGUST PROVIDED A SIZABLE GRANT TO CCCM THAT WAS USED TO PURCHASE A PARSONAGE FOR THE NEW SENIOR PASTOR AND FAMILY TO LIVE IN.
