Sponsor a program called the Heroes Cafe. The Heroes Cafe is a monthly meeting place for all veterans. Food is provided and service officers are available to assist veterans with claims to the veterans administration or other social agencies. In addition, the program assists in an annual "stand down" which serves primarily homeless and under served veterans with basic necessities. The program has also provided blankets and warm clothes in the winter months.
