The campaign, which closed on June 30 2025, secured $182 million in new funding pledges for global LGBTI movements from 64 grantmakers at a pivotal time for human rights and democracy worldwide.B) Trans and Intersex Funding Initiative - GPP members strategize and collaborate to develop new research and support collaborative funding efforts towards increasing the amount and influencing the type of funding dedicated to trans and intersex issues globally. In 2025, GPP launched the Mobilizing for Trans Futures: Trans-Inclusive Grantmaking Training.C) Research - GPP develops new research exploring and documenting opportunities, challenges, and trends in the field, including: The Global Resources Report - This biennial report provides detailed data on the distribution of LGBTI funding by geography, issue, strategy, population focus, and type of donor, offering a tool for identifying trends, gaps, and opportunities in the rapidly changing landscape of LGBTI funding. State of Trans and Intersex Organizing, 3rd Edition Surveys Launch 2023 - In October 2024, GPP published a third edition of these reports documenting and analyzing a survey of global trans and intersex groups organizing activities, priorities, and access to funding. Funding Cuts Impact Assessment - GPP is assessing the emerging impact of recent announcements of donor government funding cuts in the context of decreased funding for LGBTI movements expected from the philanthropic sector, and offering recommendations and guidance, and collaborative opportunities for member and partner organizations.D) Convenings and Webinars - GPP regularly organizes and hosts regional and global donor convenings to cultivate and deepen the knowledge, skills, and capacity of GPP members and other funders. GPP events center donor education, research sharing, networking, and dialogues related to issues impacting LGBTI communities.E) GPPs regional cafs - provide informal spaces for grantmakers with specific regional focus to share lessons, challenges, and trends, discuss resource and research needs, and share information about grantee partners when needed.GPP also hosts webinars to cultivate and deepen the knowledge, skills, and capacity of GPP members and other funders in support of global LGBTI issues.
