BMAC WORKS TO DRIVE POLICY CHANGE AROUND SOCIAL AND RACIAL JUSTICE AND PROTECTION OF ARTISTS WITH A FOCUS ON CAUSES THAT DIRECTLY IMPACT COMMUNITIES.

BMAC works to create access and opportunity in the music industry through our Music Maker Program which consists of Music Maker Grants given to emerging music artists and Music Maker Educational Programming which provides education for emerging music industry professionals. BMAC Music Maker Grant Programs include, the BMAC x Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis Music Maker Grants, the BMAC x Victoria Mont Music Maker Grants, the BMAC x Luther Vandross Music Maker Grants. BMAC is proud to present Music Maker programs that offer career education and opportunities like BMAC Live with Live Nation, BMAC Live with Rolling Loud and the BMAC Music Business Accelerator at TSU. The BMAC Music Maker Program also affords graduates from BMAC programs the chance to work Music Maker events and Music Maker Programming as paid interns.

BMAC x Rock & Rolls Hall of FameMusic Maker Guaranteed Income and Mentorship Program - BMAC and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame joined forces for a collaboration to support emerging music artists from across the country through the BMAC x Rock & Rolls Hall of Fame Music Maker Guaranteed Income and Mentorship Program. The program was designed to create economic empowerment and access to the music industry. BMAC and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame provided a year of economic support, and mentorship support to emerging music Artists and music industry professionals. The year of economic support assisted with basic needs such as rent, utilities and food, as well as opened the door for previously challenging career moves such as studio time, travel for shows or networking opportunities, marketing, and even legal services. In addition to economic support, the coalition provided industry exposure, and visibility with BMAC and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame members and industry leaders and the chance for future mentorship or career opportunities. This program built on the previous BMAC program that finished in 2024, the BMAC x Academy of Country Music Guaranteed Income & Support Services Program that provided economic support and mentorship to emerging artists and music executives in Nashville, TN.
