GSID coordinated with 12 regional partners to develop a pathway for career opportunities within Gateway South, focused on the componentized, modular and prefabrication methodologies in the construction industry. The Workforce Procurement Ecosystem includes participants identification and recruitment, information sessions and exposure to industry, education criteria to ensure a ready and trained talent pool, supportive and upskilling services to promote employee advancement. GSID is working in collaboration with the Construction Forum and the Advanced Manufacturing Innovation Center to identify the construction advocacy ecosystem in the Greater St. Louis region to establish a group of industry leaders who are focused on the advancement of the construction industry through the application of new technologies, equipment, and practices. That will lead to more efficiency in industry practice.
