Eradicate Hate Global Summit

The Global Summit: A premier convening of global leaders, practitioners, students, and survivors to share strategies, resources, and tools to address hate-fueled violence.The Student Summit: A one-day event bringing together students and educators toraise awareness about hate-fueled violence and foster action through peer-to-peerpresentations, interactive workshops, film viewings, and interactions with survivors.The Eradicate Hate Global Summit and its accompanying one-day Student Summit are vital in raising awareness about hate-fueled violence and empowering action. Of the 1,671 attendees at the 2024 Global Summit, 350 were students and educators at the Student Summit. All 14 school districts from the 2023 Student Summit returned, joined by 15 new districts from across Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, with an additional waitlist of schools that wanted to attend. Through peer-to-peer presentations, interactive workshops, and healing-centered discussions with survivors from the Tree of Life, this event provides practical tools andstrategies to recognize and address hate and foster safer communities.

UP End Hate: A new national campaign empowering youth ages 12-22 to take a standagainst hate and violence in their communities through tools, training, and peer-ledinitiatives.Building off the success of the SCREEN Hate campaign, UP End Hate is a national upstander campaign that equips young people ages 12-22 with the resources and skills to recognize and take a stand against hate-fueled violence in their communities. The campaign focuses on fostering a culture of awareness and action by providing interactive upstander training,educational tools, and real-world strategies for identifying and addressing harmful behaviors.Officially launched in September 2024, the campaigns website received over 1,000 unique visitors in its first three months, and 10 middle and high schools nationwide completed upstander trainings with Community Matters Safe School Ambassadors program.
