In 2024, New Hope Global Ministries advanced its mission of making disciples who make disciples through both local ministry in Guatemala and the mobilization of short-term mission teams. We hosted 6 mission teams from the United States, totaling over 90 participants, who partnered with our local leaders to engage in evangelism, discipleship, and acts of compassion.Through these collaborative efforts, hundreds of Guatemalans were impacted by the Gospel and tangible expressions of Christs loveincluding children, families, and individuals in both urban and rural communities. We also provided discipleship and evangelism training for over 50 local believers, equipping them to share their faith and lead others to follow Jesus.In addition to welcoming international teams, we sent our first international short-term mission team made up of four Guatemalan believers to Colombia. There, they served in evangelism and discipleship alongside local partners, helping to spark vision for missions within the Latin American church.Our local church continued to serve as a growing spiritual home for the community, with over 75 regular attenders participating in weekly worship, Bible studies, and small groups. In addition, we support several rural house churches led by trained local believers, which serve a combined approximately 40 people on a weekly basis. These gatherings extend the reach of the Gospel into areas with little to no existing church presence.New Hope Global Ministries remains committed to multiplying leaders, strengthening the church, and advancing the message of hope throughout Guatemala and beyond.
