The Needful Things Outreach Program expanded its impact in 2025 by providing consistent high volume support to individuals and families experiencing homelessness or financial hardship. Each Saturday, we distributed fresh fruits, vegetables, meat, and drinks to approximately 200 to 250 families, ensuring reliable access to nutritious meals. We provided weekly hygiene packs with soap, toothpaste, shampoo, and clean towels to about 150 individuals, helping them maintain health and dignity. Our program supplied essential items such as clothing, blankets, socks, warm clothing, and toiletries to roughly 300 to 350 individuals each month, offering comfort and safety during times of instability. We also donated 50 percent of our expanded 2025 inventory to the Toys for Tots program, supporting their mission to bring joy to children in need and strengthening our reach across rural communities.

Needful Things Fresh Start provides emergency essential goods support to families, children, and unsheltered neighbors across rural Johnson, Ellis, and Hill Counties in Texas. Through our warehouse distribution program, we supply food, clothing, hygiene items, diapers, household goods, and crisis response materials to individuals facing hardship. We partner with schools, churches, social workers, and local agencies to identify urgent needs and deliver direct assistance at no cost. Our outreach includes monthly community distributions, emergency deliveries for families in crisis, and coordinated support for individuals experiencing homelessness. This program reduces material insecurity in underserved rural areas and ensures vulnerable residents have immediate access to basic necessities during times of instability.
