A housing committee interviews potential residents to help select residents who align with the organization?s vision of supporting a community living environment for people with modest incomes. In its first full year of operations, the BHCT housed eight residents who are aligned with the organization?s mission and has continued to establish its community living space. Additionally, eleven monthly potlucks were hosted to engage current residents, house alumni, board, and neighbors, as well as numerous events engaging thirty volunteers to ensure the continued care and maintenance of the residence and surrounding grounds.
