THE ARC LANE COUNTY IS DEDICATED TO MAKING SURE PEOPLE WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES LIVE GOOD LIVES, ARE TREATED WITH RESPECT, HAVE OPPORTUNITIES TO LEARN AND GROW, AND THEIR RIGHTS ARE PROTECTED. THE AGENCY PROVIDES SERVICES TO CHILDREN, YOUTH, ADULTS AND THEIR FAMILIES TO HELP THEM BE ACTIVE AND INVOLVED IN THEIR COMMUNITIES. FOR CHILDREN UNDER 18 WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES WHO QUALIFY FOR STATE SERVICES, THE ARC OFFERS SUPPORT BOTH AT HOME AND OUT IN THE COMMUNITY. THE ARC ALSO OPERATES AN INCLUSIVE PRESCHOOL AND AN INCLUSIVE AFTER SCHOOL ENRICHMENT PROGRAM FOR YOUTH. THE ARC LANE COUNTY ALSO HELPS ADULTS WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES FIND JOBS AND ENJOY ACTIVITIES IN THE COMMUNITY. PLUS, THE ARC SUPPORTS FAMILIES THROUGH ITS FAMILY NETWORKS. THE FAMILY NETWORKS HELP PARENTS PLAN FOR THEIR CHILD'S FUTURE AND WORK TO MAKE THE COMMUNITY MORE WELCOMING AND ACCESSIBLE FOR EVERYONE. THE ARC LANE COUNTY IS ALSO DEEPLY VESTED IN HELPING THE GREATER COMMUNITY WITH ITS CARES FOOD PANTRY, ARC PARK ACCESSIBLE PLAYGROUND, ON TRACK HOUSING ASSISTANCE PROGRAM AND SATURDAY RESPITE PROGRAM. THROUGHOUT ITS 75-YEAR HISTORY, THE ARC LANE COUNTY IS PROUD TO CELEBRATE THE BEAUTY AND STRENGTH IN NEURODIVERSITY.
