HOUSING SUPPORT SERVICES: PROVIDES SURVIVORS WITH SUPPORT SERVICES TO REMOVE BARRIERS IN THE WAY TO STAYING HOUSED OR FIND PERMANENT HOUSING. FINANCIAL ABUSE IS A COMMON TACTIC OF ABUSERS, THE HOUSING SUPPORT TEAM HELPS SURVIVORS RESTORE CREDIT, REPAIR RENTAL HISTORY, PROVIDE RESOURCES TO BUILD CREDIT AND OTHER SUPPORT THEY MIGHT NEED TO BECOME PERMANENTLY HOUSED, INCLUDING RENTAL ASSISTANCE, UTILITIES AND MOVE IN COSTS. HOUSING SUPPORT TEAM ASSISTS WITH NAVIGATING THE APPLICATION PROCESS, ESPECIALLY THE COMPLEX HOUSING CHOICE VOUCHER PROGRAM, FINDING, AND COMMUNICATING WITH PROPERTIES WITH VACANCIES, COUNTY WAIT LISTS.
