EARTHSHARE OREGON WORKS WITH STAFF AT PUBLIC AND PRIVATE WORKPLACES TO EDUCATE EMPLOYEES AND DONORS ABOUT THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION WORK OF EARTHSHARE OREGONS MEMBER GROUPS. EARTHSHARE OREGON COORDINATES WORKPLACE PRESENTATIONS BY MEMBER GROUPS, PRODUCES AND DISTRIBUTES MATERIALS THAT HIGHLIGHT THE WORK OF THE MEMBER GROUPS, PROVIDES STAFFING AND PRESENTATION OPPORTUNITIES AT WORKPLACE EDUCATIONAL EVENTS AND COORDINATES VOLUNTEER EVENTS AND OTHER ACTIVITIES THAT CONNECT EMPLOYEES TO THE MEMBER GROUPS. THROUGHOUT THE YEAR, EARTHSHARE OREGON WORKS TO EXPAND THE NUMBER OF WORKPLACES THAT HAVE CONNECTIONS WITH EARTHSHARE MEMBER GROUPS. EARTHSHARE OREGON PURSUES NEW RELATIONSHIPS AND ACCESS TO WORKPLACE CHARITABLE GIVING PROGRAMS, VOLUNTEER RESOURCES, AND EDUCATIONAL AND NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES WITH SUSTAINABILITY COMMITTEE AND GREEN TEAM EMPLOYEES. EARTHSHARE OREGON ALSO WORKS COOPERATIVELY WITH OTHER NONPROFIT WORKPLACE FUNDRAISING FEDERATIONS TO EXPAND THE NUMBER OF EMPLOYEE CHARITABLE GIVING OPPORTUNITIES THROUGHOUT OREGON.IN ORDER TO ASSURE WORKPLACE DONORS AND VOLUNTEERS THAT THEY CAN RELY ON EARTHSHARE MEMBER GROUPS TO BE EFFECTIVE, WELL MANAGED, AND FISCALLY RESPONSIBLE, EARTHSHARE OREGON CONDUCTS ANNUAL PROGRAMMATIC AND FINANCIAL EVALUATIONS OF EACH OF THE 32 OREGON MEMBER GROUPS. EARTHSHARE OREGON ALSO PROCESSES WORKPLACE GIVING PLEDGES AND DONATIONS, PROVIDING PROMPT AND WELL DOCUMENTED DISTRIBUTIONS OF THE FUNDS DUE TO EACH NATIONAL OR OREGON MEMBER GROUP, AS WELL AS DONOR INFORMATION FOR ACKNOWLEDGEMENT PURPOSES, UNLESS THE DONOR REQUESTS ANONYMITY.
