THE ORGANIZATION BEGAN OPERATIONS IN SUMMER 2023. DURING OUR FIRST SIX MONTHS IN OPERATION, WE DEFINED OUR MISSION AND VISION, RECRUITED A SCIENTIFIC ADVISORY BOARD, OBTAINED 501C3 RECOGNITION FROM THE IRS, AND ESTABLISHED OUR BASIC OPERATING INFRASTRUCTURE (E.G., ACCOUNTING SYSTEMS, WEBSITE, ETC.). WE BEGAN OUTREACH TO PARTNERS AND RAISED THE SEED CAPITAL NEEDED TO SUPPORT OUR FIRST YEAR OF ACTIVITIES. WE ALSO LAUNCHED A MAJOR NEW STUDY ON THE USE OF AI IN NEURODEGENERATION RESEARCH. THE FINDINGS FROM THIS STUDY WILL DRIVE THE ORGANIZATION'S PRIORITIES AND PROGRAMMING IN 2024 AND BEYOND. IT WILL ALSO SERVE AS AN IMPORTANT RESOURCE TO OTHER STAKEHOLDERS IN THE NEURODEGENERATION RESEARCH ECOSYSTEM.
