The program provided construction, repairs and financial support for victims of hurricane Ian. Victims received payment on back rent, utilities and property taxes that may be due. Furnishings were provided as well as supplies such as bedding, towels, Pots and pans, clothing. There were 100 houses that had roofs built and/or construction and major repairs. An additional 50 residences received financial support to pay rent, bills, utilities and taxes to financially recover from Hurricane Ian. Tents and outposts were set up in different areas of Hurricane Ian damage. This outreach activity was to communicate to victims that help was available. This provided the process of meeting, identifying and documenting victims eligible for assistance. There were 578 residences that were identified through this process that received aid either through Highland Hope or through other organizations.
