SABR participated in a public rulemaking process with the EPA and was able to show that some ratios used to determine RFS credit values were inflated for renewable diesel, sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), and naptha. These inflated ratios were significantly disadvantaging biodiesel. EPA corrected those ratios. At todays credit value the correction removed a $.40 per gallon credit disadvantage for biodiesel . SABR also worked to get a small agri-biodiesel tax credit reinstated and increased from $.10 per gallon to $.20 per gallon. SABR worked with other biofuel stakeholders in a public rulemaking process to get a final rule on the renewable volume obligations for 2026 and 2027. See Schedule O for more
