Madison House Youth Center of Yakima, WA exists to serve youth and families in Yakima, Washington as a faith-based organization, ministering to the spiritual, physical, relational, and academic needs of the students it serves. It will provide after-school recreation and activities, spiritual care, family support, and tutoring/academic support for school-aged youth. Madison House helps provide mentorship, meals and a safe place to for youth to spend after school, keeping them out of getting involved in what is traditionally an area with high crime, drug use and gang activity. Madison House helps provide resources for youth that are not housed or are a recipient of foster care. On site is a care closet that includes personal care and pantry items for participants that express needs. We offer art and music clubs for the participants, opportunities for summer and winter camp, a snowboarding/character development coaching opportunity and career placement opportunities.
