ARCADE ARTS' ARTIST IN RESIDENCE IS HOME TO 12 RENT-FREE WORKING ARTIST STUDIOS LOCATED UPSTAIRS IN THE NEWLY RENOVATED NASHVILLE ARCADE. WE HOST AN OPEN CALL TO ARTISTS WITH A JURIED SELECTION PANEL. PARTICIPATING ARTISTS WILL REMAIN IN RESIDENCE FOR 10 MONTHS. IN ADDITION TO COVERING THE COST OF RENT FOR THESE STUDIOS, ARCADE ARTS WILL ORGANIZE AND PROMOTE A PROGRAMMING AGENDA THAT INCLUDES PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT COMPONENTS, CURATED ART EVENTS, WORKSHOPS AND DEMONSTRATIONS, ARTIST TALKS, MONTHLY ART CRAWLS, GALLERY SHOWS, AND OTHER PROGRAMMING THAT ENGAGES AND FOSTERS A ROBUST ARTS COMMUNITY. IN 2025, THERE WERE 12 ARTISTS IN RESIDENCE. IN ADDITION, THE ORGANIZATION OFFERS EXHIBITION SPACE FOR 6 WEEKS TO 6 INDEPENDENT CURATORS PER YEAR.
