Flight School Inc

The Flight School Fellowship is a gap year program that provides young adults with a unique rite of passage experience to learn to trust their intuition, kindle their courage, and cultivate their compassion. The organization invested in essential program infrastructure, engineering, and administrative support systems to deliver educational services to Fellows in 2024. This included developing and maintaining digital platforms and technology tools necessary to facilitate weekly community gatherings via video conferencing platforms, track Fellow progress, and provide ongoing program support. These operational investments directly support the organization's educational mission by ensuring effective program delivery and creating the technological foundation necessary for Fellows to participate in their educational experiences.

The Night Sky Fund provided direct financial stipends to 19 Fellows in 2024 to support their participation in transformational educational experiences. Each Fellow was eligible to receive up to $10,000 USD in stipend funding specifically for travel, lodging, and meals required to complete their fellowship requirements, including immersive experiences in unfamiliar environments and communities. The stipend program removed financial barriers that would otherwise prevent qualified young adults from participating in this gap year educational program focused on learning to trust their intuition, kindle their courage, and cultivate their compassion. This direct funding advances the organization's educational exempt purpose by making life-changing learning opportunities accessible regardless of economic background.
