Year one, our efforts have been primarily centored around developing a School of Film and Production and Media at Tuskegee University. Board Members spent considerable time and money developing curriculum and identifying professors and producers and actors to engage with the students. We also formed a Memorandum of Understanding between Tuskegee University and UCSB for Tuskegee University students to enroll in summer classes. Last year twelve students enrolled in summer courses. In addition to taking courses at UCSB, we took them to Disney Studios to see the facilities and to discuss the film production industry with an executive at the studios. We also had a tent party at Tuskegee Unniversity s 2024 Homecoming to make our Tuskegee Family aware of our efforts and to celebrate the first cohort of students who attended summer classes at UCSB
