CONTINUING EDUCATION PROGRAMS: PROVISION OF CONTINUING EDUCATION FOR NEARLY 1,800 DENTIST MEMBERS AND THEIR STAFF MEMBERS IS AN IMPORTANT OBJECTIVE OF THE SANTA CLARA COUNTY DENTAL SOCIETY. THSE EDUCATION PROGRAMS INCLUDE LICENSE-RENEWAL REQUIRED PROGRAMS IN CPR, OSHA REGULATIONS, DENTAL PRACTICE ACT, INFECTION CONTROL AND HOSTILE WORKPLACE. ALSO PRACTICE MANAGEMENT CLASSES UPDATE MEMBERS ON HR LAWS AND PRACTICE MANAGEMENT ISSUES. MONTHLY CLINICAL TOPIC LECTURES AND OCCASIONAL ALL DAY SYMPOSIA PROVIDE INFORMATION ABOUT STATE-OF-THE-ART PRACTICES. LASTLY THE BAY AREA DENTAL EXPO IS A FIRST-OFI-ITS KIND CONFERENCE IN THE HEART OF THE SILICON VALLEY FOCUSING ON TECHNOLOGY, INNOVATION, RESEARCH AND IDEAS THAT WILL SHAPE THE FUTURE OF DENTISTRY.
