The Society joins together persons of Scottish birth and heritage. Member meetings are held the third Monday of the month In terms of culture promotion, encouragement in tangible form is given to bagpipe bands, Highland dance groups and Celtic music study. The Society hosts an annual banquet and ball where Scottish delicacies are served, and Highland dancers, pipers and world class fiddlers perform. The Society also gets together to celebrate Hogmanay, the changing of the year. Lastly, the Society hosts the annual Robert Burns Dinner which celebrates the life, work and spirit of the Scottish poet, Robert Burns.
