The organization provides multi-faith chaplaincy services to adults and youth incarcerated in Santa Clara County jails. These services include worship services special programming and events during religious holidays and holy days individual mentoring grief counseling Bible studies spiritual writing courses reentry support meditation art therapy and various arts crafts programming. The organization supplies holy texts and spiritual literature in English and Spanish and worship materials such as hijabs prayer rugs medicine bags Sikh head coverings and communion cups. One notable initiative "Read With Me," involves incarcerated women recording videos of themselves reading childrens books to their children. Hard copies of the books and videos are made available to loved ones. Men in the Re-entry Corrections Program RCP have the opportunuity to participate in spiritual writing courses with their writings compiled into booklets. The organization also engages in community outreach through initiatives like decorating a Christmas tree at San Joses Christmas in the Park with ornaments crafted by inmates. The Executive Director an ordained minister also provides training to new deputies at the academy. The organization conducts biannual training "Going In Staying In," to current and prospective volunteers involved or interested in jail services.
