In our 43nd season, Chamber Music in Napa Valley presented ten concerts from October 2023 to April 2024. Almost 200 generous donors contributed close to $300,000 to make this season another great success. Our committment to keep the concerts affordable and accessible to the community means that tickey sales make up less than 1/3 of the budget. The music in the school programs presented seven different artists in the Napa Schools, introducing young audiences to classical music and inspiring another generation of music students. This fiscal year, CMNV contributed to the commission of six new works by contemporary composers.
Tom Abbey and the music in the schools program presented three different world class string quartets for a total of six days of outreach concerts in local schools.
