CityBuild ProgramFor Fiscal Year 2024-25, the CityBuild program made significant progress in preparing participants for construction careers. During the fiscal year, CCSC recruited 165 individuals (93 for Cycle 41 and 72 for Cycle 42) for the Construction Readiness Training, with 127 participants (87 for Cycle 41 and 40 for Cycle 42) successfully completing the required readiness training.Of those who completed the initial training, 45 trainees (26 for Cycle 41 and 19 for Cycle 42) were selected to advance to the CityBuild training academy, where they received further skills development and specialized training. We are pleased to report that 38 traniness (22 for Cycle 41 and 16 for Cycle 42) graduated from the academy and were directed toward additional career opportunities in the Construction field.

Culinary and Hospitality ProgramFor fiscal 2024-2025, Culinary and Hospitality Program fulfilled the goals set by the funder. CCSC provided four kinds of training, Chinese Cooking, Western Cooking, Japanese Cooking and Bartending & Barista training to the public. In addition to the hands-on training, trainees also received Job Readiness training that assisted them with job searching, resume writing and interview preparation. A total of 85 individuals were trained and 90% of them graduated from the classes. Among the graduates, 90% were able to locate jobs. Positions include hostess, bartender, server, bus-person, sushi maker, wok cook, line cook, food preparation cook etc.
