EDUCATION - ALONZO KING LINES BALLET OFFERS TRAINING, PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES, AND SCHOLARSHIPS FOR ASPIRING AND PRE-PROFESSIONAL DANCERS. THIS INCLUDES THE LINES BFA PROGRAM, THE LINES SUMMER PROGRAM, THE LINES TRAINING PROGRAM, AND THE LINES COMMUNITY PROGRAMS. THE LINES BFA PROGRAM IS A COLLABORATION WITH THE DOMINICAN UNIVERSITY OF CA AND HAS A FACULTY COMPOSED OF ALONZO KING, ALONZO KING LINES BALLET COMPANY ALUMNI AND GUEST ARTISTS AND 21 STUDENTS IN FY25. THE LINES SUMMER PROGRAM IS DESIGNED FOR ASPIRING ARTISTS AGED 11-25 AND OFFERS A UNIFIED APPROACH TO TRAINING ROOTED IN THE PHILOSOPHY OF ALONZO KING. (SEE SCHEDULE O FOR CONTINUATION.) DANCERS ARE GUIDED ON A COLLABORATIVE JOURNEY THAT VALUES RISK-TAKING AND INDEPENDENT THINKING. THERE WAS A TOTAL OF OVER 180 ENROLLED STUDENTS IN OUR THREE PROGRAMS IN FY25. THE LINES TRAINING PROGRAM IS A FULL-TIME PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE FOR AVID DANCERS AGED 18-24 AND IN FY25, 39 WERE ENROLLED. THE LINES COMMUNITY PROGRAMS IS PROVIDING ARTS PROGRAMMING IN COLLABORATION WITH SAN FRANCISCO UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT, SF REC AND PARK AND OTHER PARTNERS, SERVING OVER 1,300 PREK THROUGH HIGH SCHOOL GRADE STUDENTS IN OVER 9,500 CONTACT HOURS, A MAJORITY IN SAN FRANCISCO NEIGHBORHOODS.
