Berkeley Athletic Fund (BAF) accepts donations and seeks funds to support Berkeley High School student athletes, coaches and athletic directors. Funding provided by the school district for the athletic teams and programs does not always cover the total costs of the things teams need to be safe, perform at the highest level and proudly represent Berkeley High. Each year BAF contributes to the success of our student athletes by providing financial support for athletic equipment, uniforms, tournament expenses, team building activities, and continuing education and professional development for coaches.

Berkeley Athletic Fund fundraises to augment the meager wages paid to assistant and freshman coaches by the Berkeley Unified School District. These fund increase Berkeley High School's ability to recruit and retain quality coaches which enhances the student athlete experience. BAF sponsors one special fundraising event, a golf tournament. Other donations are collected in various ways throughout the year. See PSA#1.
