The Port Angeles Fine Arts Center (PAFAC) continued to advance its vision of inspiring the artist in every person. Three of our main programs supporting this mission are Festivals, Art Gallery exhibits, and Youth Education. The PAFAC hosts 3 seasonal outdoor festivals, rotating exhibits throughout the year in the art gallery, and supports local schools through field trips and classroom visits.

FESTIVALS: The PAFAC hosted 3 seasonal festivals in 2024 in Webster's Woods, the 5-acre Sculpture Park that surrounds the gallery facility. The summer and fall festivals each welcomed more than 500 people and featured live entertainment, interactive art stations, and live readings by authors as well as food and drink vendors. The winter program (called Wintertide) took place over a month-long period in November and December and included the Wintertide Festival of Lights, Light Art Experience in Webster's Woods, and a holiday Makers Market in the gallery. The winter season program brought 7906 visits to the park to enjoy the light-based art installations along the forested paths of Webster's Woods. PAFAC was proud to offer unique experiences for people of all ages to engage in and experience the arts.

EXHIBITS: The PAFAC hosted 4 art gallery exhibits, 15 interactive art and educational workshops, and the annual Makers Market. The gallery gift store and Maker's Market activities in 2024 supported 90 artists and PAFAC contributed $69,000 towards the livelihood of these artists. Over 5000 visitors came into the art gallery.

YOUTH EDUCATION: In addition to festivals and gallery exhibits, the PAFAC hosted 18 field trips to our campus for students ages 5-11. PAFAC visited classrooms throughout the school year, bringing art enrichment to local schools for 3 schools and more than 275 students. The culmination of the school year was the display of student artwork in our gallery during the Blooming Artists exhibition. PAFAC also hosted two weeks of Nature Art Summer Camp, engaging 54 students in four different Art Camps.
