ASEB provides adult day health care and respite services to individuals suffering from Alzheimers disease and related dementias. ASEB offers three Adult Day Health Care (ADHC) programs, in Berkeley and Fremont. ASEB educates and informs providers, caregivers, professionals, and the general community about issues related to dementia care. ASEB's primary goal is to remain open and engaged in the community until ASEB can utilize its licensed capacity (ASEB is still following COVID protocols of social distancing; temperature taking; masks and hand washing/sanitizing). The COVID protocols have assisted ASEB in looking at the delivery of services. ASEB now offers two shifts of care to accommodate the number of people in the space. The shifts are 9am-1pm and 11am-3pm. ASEBs goal is to maintain this scheduling once we move out of the pandemic.
