HABITAT USES VOLUNTEER LABOR TO CONSTRUCT HOMES FOR LOW INCOME FAMILIES DURING THE YEAR. 10 HOMES WERE COMPLETED AND TRANSFERRED TO HOMEOWNERS. OUR ORGANIZATION HAS CONTINUED THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE LEGACY POINTE SUBDIVISION. PHASE I OF LEGACY POINTE HAS 18 LOTS, OF WHICH ALL HAVE BEEN USED TO BUILD HOMES WHICH HAVE BEEN TRANSFERRED TO HOMEOWNERS. WE HAVE COMPLETED DEVELOPMENT ON PHASE 2 CONSISTING OF 21 LOTS, AND WILL BEGIN TRANSFER OF THESE HOMES TO HOMEOWNERS IN THE NEXT FISCAL YEAR. WE EXPECT TO DEVELOP 77 TOTAL LOTS OVER THE LIFE OF THIS DEVELOPMENT FOR USE IN BUILDING AN ENTIRE HABITAT SUBDIVISION. 1,242 VOLUNTEERS HAVE CONTRIBUTED OVER 7,327 VOLUNTEER HOURS TO HOME CONSTRUCTION OPERATIONS. WE ALSO REHABILATED SEVERAL HOUSES FOR LOW INCOME HOMEOWNERS UNDER AN AGING IN PLACE PROGRAM.
