NAMI IDAHO OFFERS SUPPORT GROUPS TO INDIVIDUALS DEALING WITH MENTAL HEALTH CONDITIONS AND ALSO FOR FRIENDS AND FAMILY OF THOSE EXPERIENCING MENTAL ILLNESS LED BY FACILITATORS WITH LIVED EXPERIENCE TRAINED THROUGH NAMI'S RIGOROUS TRAINING REGIMEN AND SUPPORTED BY NAMI STAFF. SPECIALTY SUPPORT GROUPS FOCUS ON MARGINALIZED AND UNDERSERVED COMMUNITIES AND INCLUDE THOSE FOR PEOPLE INVOLVED WITH THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEM, MEMBERS OF THE LGBTQ+ COMMUNITY, AND VICTIMS OF TRAFFICKING. GROUPS ARE OFFERED IN ENGLISH OR SPANISH AND IN VIRTUAL AND IN-PERSON FORMATS. BETWEEN 300 AND 400 INDIVIDUALS STATEWIDE PARTICIPATE IN OUR SUPPORT GROUPS EACH MONTH.
