Since 1994, Smuin Ballet has performed works by Founder Michael Smuin, and other World-renown choreographers, in California, across the US and around the world. As one of Northern Californias leading non-profit dance companies, Smuin Ballet performs more than 60 shows in San Francisco, Walnut Creek, Mountain View and Carmel during its regular, annual performing season. Since 2019 and the opening of our permanent home, Smuin Center for Dance, Smuin Ballet is able to offer classes in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Contemporary, Hip-Hop, and character dance. Classes appeal to all ages.
