The pediatric surgery brigade supported a total of 33 surgeries.

Georgia: Jo Ann Medical Center has officially partnered with the European University of Georgia and has been renamed Jo Ann University Hospital JAUH, the first University-associated hospital in Georgia. The University is an excellent partner, as both share a similar vision in improving medical outcomes in Georgia through quality medical education. Sharing resources with the University, JAUH can now grow much faster. In 2023, Global Healing successfully completed the USAID/ASHA-funded portion of construction assistance for the pediatric oncology ward at Jo Ann University Hospital in Tbilisi, Georgia. The new cancer facility includes 20-24 beds in the Pediatric Cancer Inpatient Unit, 12 beds in the Pediatric Cancer Outpatient Unit, 8 beds in the ICU, and 4 beds in the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit.
