FranDelJA Enrichment Center is a private non-profit childcare and education center located in the Bay view Hunter's Point, San Francisco. Our desire is to be an active member of a diverse and growing community. By enhancing wellness and providing enriched education and quality care, FranDelJA is a safe haven for children and families impacted by inequities and trauma.The community that FranDelJA services is one of the highest need and most underserved communities in San Francisco. Bay view Hunter's Point neighborhood is home to more than 35,000 residents in an area of 8.6 square miles. To help meet the needs of the community, we operate a childcare and development center serving infants, toddlers and preschool children: FranDelJA - Fairfax has a total license capacity of 21 infants and 56 preschoolers. FranDelJA is a child development program that addresses the needs of the whole child. This includes his or her social and emotional well-being, physical and cognitive development and cultural and ethnic self - expression. We recognize the need to respect each child as an individual and want to work with families to understand each child's needs.
