The goal of our programs is to ensure that our clients receive support in the form of education, resources and referrals needed to adapt and become self-sufficient. Our ultimate goal is for the community to thrive.

APACC was successful in securing a 5 year grant from the Department of Children, Youth, and their Families (DCYF) for our youth programming. Despite the City of San Franciscos large budget deficit, they determined that APACCs services are essential to our community. Despite a decrease in funding from the previous year, our scoring mark for our application for our Middle School Youth programming scored extremely high and was only not funded due to the Citys budget deficit. APACC was able to maintain the same number of youth in both our After School Program and Summer Program despite the impending budget decrease. Minor adjustments will be made according to the budget the following fiscal year.

For Fiscal Year 2023-2024, APACC continued our ambition to continue and grow existing programs post pandemic. APACCs translation and social services program with the Mayors Office of Housing and Development continued to see both new and returning clients access our services on a consistent basis. Our community continues to seek APACCs assistance with their CalFresh, Medi-Cal, and BMR Low-income Housing applications. In 2023-2024 APACC saw an increase with clients needing support for Unemployment benefits. APACC also continues to build out our translation and social services program to expand to the monolingual Spanish speaking community.
