Mission

The Ponderosa Jr. Bruins Youth Football and Cheer organization is a 501c3 tax-exempt nonprofit corporation, based in Shingle Springs, California. We are a member of the Sacramento Youth Football league. Our mission is to be a feeder program to the Ponderosa High School Football and Cheer programs by developing and preparing youth participants in accordance with the Ponderosa High School Football and Cheer philosophies and in partnership with Ponderosa High School; to teach youth participants football and cheerleading skills while instilling the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, courage, loyalty, and respect for one's self and others; and to provide youth participants in our community the opportunity to participate in a competitive football and cheerleading league.
