Youth Programs - Week long music day camps provide a safe and welcoming space for campers to create, rehearse, perform original work, and attend youth empowerment workshops together over six consecutive days. Each week culminates in a showcase where campers debut their songs at a local music venue for an audience. Youth serve as peer mentors for day camp participants. Interns explore topics ranging from youth choice and leadership to technical skills, including instrument maintenance and repair. Advanced Music Program (AMP) is a week-long intensive workshop for teens with prior music experience, incorporating mentor-guided song writing, band participation, and experiential learning (run in collaboration with the Museum of Pop Culture).We remove cost barriers by offering sliding scale tuition starting at $0 and provide free instrument rentals for participants. Amplified Teen and Youth Voices - Year-round teen leadership program for youth who have participated in at least one of our summer immersive youth programs. Teens (high school group) and Youth (middle school group) build strong peer-to-peer relationships with like-minded peers interested in music, the arts, leadership and activism; assist RCRC in building action-oriented, relevant, youth-driven programming; and, connect and work with youth leaders from other area organizations.

Adult Programs - Adult Rock Camp, RCRCs program for adult participants. Embracing the philosophy that everyone can learn new skills, adult weekend camps offer a safe, inclusive space for people impacted by gender inequity who are 18+ to exercise their voice, explore their potential, and play music within a supportive community. We remove cost barriers by offering sliding scale tuition starting at $0 and provide free instrument rentals for participants. We also host Adult Band Club for musicians who have participated in rock camp. We help folks form bands and provide designated practice space each week for 6 weeks. We then host a showcase for them to perform and share their music with our community. Finally, we utilize the adults in our community as volunteers and supporters of our youth programs. Mandy adults come back to provide instrument instruction or coach a band, making it an amazing multigenerational community experience.
