Facility is used for classes in Japanese Ikebana flower arrangement Bonsai cultivation of dwarf trees Karate and Taiko drum. In addition Ashland Howakai Buddhist religious group Eden chapter of the Japanese American Citizens League JACL and Eden Youth Group high school age community service hold regular meetings at the facility. Classes are implemented and sponsored by the Eden Township Japanese Community Center but are not funded by it.

Senior Center Fund: We sponsor a Senior Citizens Center for our elderly women and men. The Senior Citizens Center is staffed by volunteers from the community. The program serves between 20 to 40 elderly persons ranging in age from 60 - 95 years old. Program meets twice a month. Additional outreach services are provided to the elderly as needed or requested.
