Our holiday food donations and gift cards assisted over 3,000 individuals who were directly impacted by natural disasters and or suffered economic hardships. The BRAVE initiative provided critical support to veterans by offering free showers, haircuts, healthcare assessments, and workforce assistance. We provided student workers the opportunity to work alongside staff, volunteers and community members given them a unique insight and allowing them to gain real life experience. We continued to provide food, medical supplies, and school supplies to community partners in our service area. We honored several students with scholarships through our STEAM program. AUW had over 50,000 website visits, more than 5,000 email followers, Facebook visitors inexcess of 215,000 and approximately 60,000 twitter impressions. Our Women United programs continued helping the underserved young women through their dedicated programs of Interview For Success, and College Readiness.
