Mission

La Jolla Symphony and Chorus Association (the Association) was organized in 1957 under the Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation Law for public and charitable purposes. The mission of the Association is to inspire the San Diego community with the joy of music by performing orchestral and choral music that includes premiers, recent compositions and rarely performed musical pieces along with traditional classical favorites, and to provide a venue for the community musicians of San Diego to perform this challenging and exciting music at a high artistic level.
