Education:The Temple provides regular services that share the Buddhist teachings and precepts. These services are held in our Temple live streamed so we can share the Dharma to more individuals.Our Minister has office hours and also an official time to just drop by and chat (11 am Tuesdays) for informal discussion. These sessions are often attended by people who are not temple members but have come from the larger community to find spiritual counselling at times of loss and extreme stress.

Classes:The Temple provides space for groups to use for meetings and activities. These groups include seniors who meet for crafting and sharing lunch together.We use ZOOM to hold classes and meetings. The origami class we hold over ZOOM meets once a month and we have participants from other Temples that join us.Our Resident Minister conducts classes weekly in Buddhist Studies and Tai Chi. It is an adapted Tai Chi class for seniors but involves enough training for those who are still young.

Services: The Temple organizations provide meals for local seniors and community members several times a year.The Temple organizes food and clothing drives to provide support for our local un-housed community members.The Temple establishes several fundraising activities to make donations to other organizations in need (i.e. Maui wildfire)We mail a newsletter to our Temple membership and friends 6-times a year and send out an eBlast weekly with updated information and reminders.Our Womens Group supports our home-bound sangha members by calling or sending greeting cards.In case of a death, the Temple provides support to the family to help them organize and plan for a funeral service. Our minister visits persons in hospitals, nursing homes and hospices looking for comfort. Most of these visits come from phone calls from people previously not associated with the temple.
