Population Communication is currently working on the four transitions towards population stabilization. The first is peak and depletion of gas, oil and coal as well as rare minerals used for wind and solar. The second is preserving and protecting the forests, oceans, potable water, biodiversity, soil and all life support systems, including the atmosphere. The third is the equilibrium of movement from rural to urban areas and sovereign spaces given finite and habitat realities. Population stabilization takes place when couples want and have two children.Population Communication has authored a population stabilization statement signed by 75 heads of government. The statement will be framed within the four transitions and challenge the worlds leaders to focus on preserving and protecting habitats and accommodating the needs of children now and in the future. In collaboration with the Partners in Population and Development, we have commissioned reports by professional demographers and economists focused on rights-based population policies in 18 countries. These reports will be revised and updated within the framework of the four transitions. The India Vital Statistics App is being revised with counters for population, births/death, arable land lost, forest area, CO2 emissions, species extinction, air pollution and desertification. We are adding water and marine indicators as well as national and global energy consumption using current and projected domestic and imported fossil fuels. We have compiled population projections and environment vital statistic applications for all the countries where we focus our activities. In 2023 the world will reach 8 billion. When the founder was born in 1935, the population was 2.2 billion. The child born today who lives to 80 or 90 years will be on the planet with the deaths of 6 billion more people than when he was born. There are now more children under 16 on the planet than the total population than when he was born.
